I enjoyed the audiobook especially since Ashley gets to read her character's story. The novel itself plays out like an adventure of The Clone Wars. There are interludes inside the Aftermath series, though, these have something to try to do with Ahsoka or the role she has associated with across the years. There are hints that the Empire is functioning on something big, although it's never directly mentioned.
