However, just as some users have mentioned on this thread some have been able to link both by downloading SyncSolver but I'm not sure if this app is still available. If you get to sync them the steps won't count toward Challenges because the ones that will count are the ones from the tracker.
Hope this clarifies any doubt! Want to get more active? I have tried the sync solver and it doesn't work. Note that Sync Solver as my friend SilviaFitbit suggested here, is just a workaround, since so far we don't have immediate plans to integrate the Fitbit app with Apple watches due to these are different technologies.
Keep in mind with Sync Solver It won't be possible to use all the features of the Fitbit app and the Fitbit trackers, so not all your information will be share. The best way to know which data will sync is like WalkingXm suggested here. You can review the last update in the following feature suggestion: Integrate with Apple Watch. You can't participate in any challenges with this app. TM99 I'm not sure if the title of this thread really is about the desired request. The title is. Is it saying to write a Fitbit app that can run on the Apple Watch?
Or is it asking for the Apple Watch to be added as a Fitbit Tracker and used to collect the users steps? Several have requested for Fitbit to sync with the Apple watch, but haven't explained what and what way the sync should occur. How does the Fitbit app run on a Charge 2 today, the Charge 2 simply connects to the Fitbit software. Turn on suggestions. Note that even when the data from an Apple Watch can't sync with Fitbit and its challenges, if you're using an iPhone you can set up MobileTrack in your Fitbit Account.
MobileTrack uses the sensors on your phone to track steps and other basic information. These steps will count towards challenges and adventures. It would be nice for the steps recorded with the apple watch to be included just as they are with a fitbit tracker. Dont punish those of us that need more out of our fitness tracker than JUST fitness, hence the surge of apple watch users.
If you will take steps from the mobile track why not the health app to Fitbit? There is a HUGE demand for it! I am absolutely hooked on my Fitbit! I bought the Charge 3 and I hate taking it off. My resting heart rate on an ECG machine compared to my Fitbit has a difference of 10 beats per minute In addition the calorie counter has very limited good options and scanning them and sending them off is too time consuming. All in all I am so chuffed that I have a Fitbit as its now become a way of life for me!
Hi Jane, We're delighted to hear that you enjoy using your Fitbit Charge 3 and love its features such as reminders to move and challenges! As for your concern with heart rate tracking, please note that our Fitbit devices calculate steps differently from other machines.
PurePulse LEDs light-emitting diodes on your Fitbit device reflect onto the skin to detect blood volume changes, and finely-tuned algorithms are applied to measure heart rate automatically and continuously.
The heart-rate icon you see on the display tells you if you're in 1 of 3 heart-rate zones. It's also worth noting that if you're doing an activity where your wrist is moving vigorously and non-rhythmically, the movement may prevent the sensor from finding your heart rate. I'd gladly pay for Fitbit Coach - it's really cool! But I kinda want an Apple Watch now tbh, and being able to track those workouts through it would be awesome.

The Apple watch 4 announcement yesterday made it painfully clear that fitbit's days may be numbered. Super loyal fitbit user and I am sad that I am seriously considering ditching fitbit and android to get the new apple watch.
The Versa is instantly obsolete compared to the apple watch 4. I don't see wearing two devices but the announced features on the apple watch are too good to ignore. Turn on suggestions.
